Position Summary:

Responsible for maintain computer networks and solving any problems that may occur with them. Typical responsibilities of the job include: installing and configuring computer networks and systems. Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems.

Major Duties:

•Manage Network Technologies associated with, but not limited to, Microsoft Servers, SQL, Cisco, and Cisco Meraki devices • Work with operations teams on training and handling escalations • Maintain existing network configurations and dependencies; recommend design alternatives if necessary • Monitor network usage, capacity, and performance • Perform configuration and troubleshooting on firewalls, routers, and switches • Identify and isolate issues with complex network scenarios involving the hardware and the interconnections used for both LAN, WAN, and Wireless • Perform routine maintenance on networks • Create and maintain network diagrams; produce ad-hoc diagrams as needed

Knowledge Required:

• 5+years’ experience • Candidate must have experience with the relevant technology platforms • Must demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills • Hands-on experience with current Windows server platforms • Strong knowledge and configuration of network protocols • Proficient networking experience to manage multi-sites both local and remote • Strong troubleshooting skills • Experience with network management

Physical Demands:

The work is typically performed while sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, or stooping. The employee frequently lifts light objects, occasionally lifts heavy objects, climbs ladders, and uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.

WorkEnvironment:

The work is typically performed in an office and occasionally at outdoor facilities, where the employee may be exposed to dust, dirt, machinery with moving parts, cold or inclement weather. The work may require the use of protective devices such as mask, goggles, or gloves.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent. • Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED • Experience with Cisco Meraki • CCNA/CCNP/CCIE – Desired
